1.Sharps

Articles with sharp edges or sharp points, made of metal or other material and strong enough to cause serious personal injury, mainly include:

(1) Daily knives (blade length greater than 6cm), such as kitchen knife, fruit knife, scissors, art knife, paper knife;

(2) Professional knives (blade length is not limited), such as scalpel, slaughtering knife, carving knife, planing knife, milling knife;

(3) Knives, spears, swords and halberds used in martial arts performances.

2. Blunt

Articles without sharp edges or sharp points, made of metal or other material and strong enough to cause serious personal injury, mainly include:

Sticks (including telescopic sticks and nunchucks), clubs, cue sticks, cricket rackets, hockey sticks, golf clubs, alpenstocks, ski poles, knuckle-dusters (hand nails);

3. Others

Other articles that can cause personal injury or pose a great danger to aviation safety and transportation order mainly include:

(1) Tools, such as drilling rig (including drill), chisel, cone, saw, bolt gun, nail gun, screwdriver, crowbar, hammer, pliers, welding torch, wrench, axe, hatchet (fire axe), vernier caliper, ice axe, ice pick;

(2) Other articles, such as darts, slingshots, bows, arrows, buzzing self-defense devices, and electric shock, mace gas, tear gas, pepper spray, acid spray, animal repellent spray, etc, which are not under national control.


II.Restricted items that are carried on or checked in as baggage

1.Carry-on articles with limited conditions that can be checked in as baggage:

(1) When passengers take international or regional flights, their carry-on liquid articles shall be put in containers with a single volume of no more than 100ml, and the containers with liquid articles shall be put in transparent plastic bags with a maximum volume of no more than 1L and can be resealable. Each passenger is only allowed to carry one transparent plastic bag at a time, the excess part should be checked as luggage;

(2) Passengers are prohibited from carrying liquids on board domestic flights (except cosmetics, toothpaste and shaving cream for personal use during air travel). Cosmetics for personal use on air travel must meet three conditions at the same time (each one is limited to one piece, stored in a container of less than 100ml in a single container, and inspected for opening the bottle) before being carried on board, including toothpaste and shaving cream, each of which is limited to one piece and not exceeding 100g (ml). When passengers transfer from international or regional flights to domestic flights in the same controlled area of the airport, their carry-on duty-free liquid articles must meet three conditions at the same time (showing the shopping vouchers, putting them in the sealed and intact transparent plastic bags, and passing the security check for confirmation) before they can be carried on. 2. Restricted items that are prohibited from carry-on but checked in as baggage:

Alcoholic beverages are prohibited from being carried on hand, but when checked in as baggage, they are subject to the following restrictions:

(1) The label is comprehensive, clear and placed in retail packaging, and the volume of each container shall not exceed 5L;

3. Articles that are prohibited to be checked as baggage and are carry-on but subject to limited conditions

Chargeable batteries and lithium batteries are not allowed to be checked as luggage. When they are carried on hand, there are following restrictions on them (lithium batteries used in electric wheelchairs are separately stipulated) :

(1) The label is comprehensive and clear, with rated energy less than or equal to 100Wh;

(2) When the rated energy is greater than 100Wh, less than or equal to 160Wh, it must be approved by the airline company and each person is limited to two pieces.

2. Civilian guns, such as air guns, shotguns, sports shooting guns, narcotic injection guns;

3. Other guns, such as prop guns, starting guns, steel ball guns, guns from outside the country and all kinds of illegally manufactured guns;

II. Exploding or Burning Substances and Devices

Explosive or incendiary devices (substances) capable of causing serious personal injury or endangering the safety of aircraft, or articles which may be mistaken for such devices (substances), mainly include:
